Pika Wiya Health Service Aboriginal Corporation is an approved provider of aged care services in the Port Augusta, Whyalla and smaller towns and communities in the Flinders North region.

Commonwealth Support Program

Pika Wiya Health Service Aboriginal Corporation is a provider of Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP).

CHSP is a basic home support program that helps older people to stay independent, active and healthy in their own homes and communities.

The idea of CHSP is to give people a small amount of regular help so they can remain stronger and independent.

Eligibility and Access

First Australians who are at least fifty years of age and are experiencing difficulties in undertaking essential activities of daily living are eligible to access aged care services.

Eligibility for aged care support is determined by the Commonwealth Government referral and assessment service: My Aged Care.

We offer subsidised care and support to older people who have been approved for services through My Aged Care.
